Point Quest Group is seeking an Adapted Physical Education Specialist to join our Education, Training & E-Learning team within the Education & Training industry. In this role, you will design and deliver individualized and small-group adapted physical education services for students with a wide range of disabilities and learning needs. Drawing on your expertise in motor development, movement analysis, and inclusive instructional practices, you will create engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate activities that support each student’s functional skills, confidence, and independence. Working closely with special education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, identify students’ strengths and areas of need, and translate your findings into clear, measurable goals that align with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You will modify equipment, environments, rules, and instructional strategies to promote full participation, using evidence-based approaches to support behavior, communication, and engagement during physical activity. Regular data collection and progress monitoring will guide your instructional decisions, ensuring that services remain responsive to each student’s growth over time. As part of the Point Quest Group team, you will contribute to a supportive and inclusive culture that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. You will participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing training to refine your practice and share your expertise with colleagues. You will also provide guidance to school staff and caregivers on strategies to promote physical activity, motor skill development, and inclusive play across school and community settings. This is a field-based, on-site role that involves traveling between school or program locations to deliver services.
